Grid View or Stages Not Appearing in HubSpot: Troubleshooting Guide
If you're experiencing issues where the grid view, board view, or deal stages are not showing correctly in HubSpot, follow these steps to resolve the problem.
Refresh Your Browser
HubSpot might not show recent changes made in another tab or window until you refresh.
- Press
Ctrl + R(Windows) orCmd + R(Mac). - If the issue started after updating a pipeline or stage, refresh all related tabs.
Check Your Pipeline Settings
Missing or misconfigured stages in a pipeline can prevent the grid/board view from displaying properly.
- Go to Settings > Objects > Deals.
- Select the Pipelines tab.
- Choose the correct pipeline from the dropdown.
- Review the stages—make sure all expected stages are listed, including:
- At least one "Open" stage.
- A "Closed Won" and "Closed Lost" stage (for reporting).
Tip: If you recently removed or renamed a stage, the grid view might not update immediately without a refresh.
Customize the Board View
You may need to reconfigure the view to display the correct properties or stages.
- Navigate to your Deals board view.
- Click Board actions (top right) > Edit cards.
- Choose which properties appear on each deal card.
- Click Save.
This ensures your view includes all necessary information.
Clear Browser Cache & Cookies
Outdated cache or cookies can prevent HubSpot from displaying UI elements correctly.
To clear your browser cache:
- On Chrome:
Settings > Privacy & security > Clear browsing data - Choose Cookies and cached images/files, then Clear data
Check Funnel Report Filters (if reporting is affected)
If stages are missing in reports:
- Open the funnel report.
- Review the filter on the left sidebar.
- Ensure it’s set to show deals that entered any stage, not just those that passed through all stages.
Enable JavaScript in Your Browser
HubSpot uses JavaScript for dynamic views like the grid or board.
- Check that JavaScript is enabled in your browser settings.
- Disable browser extensions that may block scripts (like ad blockers).
Still Not Working?
If none of these steps resolve the issue:
- Log out and log back in.
- Try using incognito/private mode to rule out extensions.
- Contact HubSpot Support with screenshots and a description of the issue.
